Denture Relines
Your dentures are custom-designed to fit your mouth securely, but over time, your gum tissues change and dentures become looser. Professional relines every one to two years maintain security and function.
Hard Reline: All full dentures should have a hard reline every two years. We remove a layer of plastic from the denture’s interior, take a new impression, and send it to the lab for adjustment to match your current gum shape.
Soft Reline: For patients with tender gums or chronic sore spots, we offer soft relines with pliable material that lasts 1-2 years. Soft liners absorb shock between the hard denture base and your gums, providing greater comfort and easier chewing.
Temporary Reline: If your gums are inflamed due to ill-fitting dentures, we may recommend a temporary medicinal reline to reduce swelling before performing a permanent reline.
